Dedicated to honoring history and promoting a family-centered community engagement.

Honoring tradition

Plaiting the May Pole, Horseback riding, and a host of activities are apart of a long tradition and culture.

One of the regions largest and most historical festivals, it is our aim to utilize this event to continue to build our local communities both socially and economically. However, we cannot achieve our goals alone. Find out how you can help.

Museum of Florida’s african-american history

The Byron L. Dickens Museum of Florida’s African American History & Cultural Arts Center will offer a solution to the problem of a lack of understanding and appreciation of Florida’s African American history and culture. The museum will provide a comprehensive and engaging educational experience that celebrates the contributions of Florida’s African Americans to American society.
